Whether you’re a ‘coach favorite’ or not, all players should strive to have characteristics that their coaches love. Playing hard, bringing great energy, and leading your teammates are all things that you can control and that will only get you closer to the playing time you desire. Adam and TJ share practical ways for players to become a ‘coach favorite’.
Coaches, you may be your biggest critic but you also need to be your own biggest fan. Our self talk can be influenced by others so easily, and players have to be intentional with their self-talk to maintain confidence and persistence at all times.
