Executives love hiring people from IBM, Enterprise, and Xerox because they know exactly the kind of person they are getting. As coaches we should ask, “What are people going to get from the players that come through our program? Understanding the leadership abilities, character traits, intangibles that we want to instill in our players is crucial so that we are able to identify what they need and how we can create an environment for those things to develop.

Your team’s leadership is the factor that will determine whether or not you reach your full potential. With this in mind, we ask coaches, “Is your team’s leadership an asset or obstacle?” Adam shares five signs your teams leadership is an obstacle, and seven signs that it is an asset.
